This black tea comes from a well known tea garden in North Valley in the heart of Darjeeling. The slow growth of the shrubs at the cool higher altitudes of this Himalayan plantation, produces a harvest of the finest quality - a highly aromatic, spicy, slightly sweet tea

A full-bodied and aromatic second flush tea that tastes good even with hard water.

"Dear Jo, thank you for your lovely feedback. Yes, unfortunately the Sikkim is discontinued by the supplier. Have a look under 'other black teas' and you may want to try the Vietnamese Black Tea listed there https://www.cupoftea.co.uk/tea/black-teas/other-black-tea/c25 "

"Outstanding from the pouch, hardly any crumb. Great aroma, slightly smoky, hinting at Savory. Very clean on the palate, slight curranty tones, finishing with a good bitter plummy taste. Fair aftertaste."
