Iced Teas

Iced teas are fun and easy to make! You can drink the fruity teas as they are or jazz them up with juices, fruit or your favourite tipple.

Iced teas can be made using all teas, from black to green or herbal and fruit. To make iced teas, simply brew them, allow them to cool, and mix with any other complementary ingredients that take your fancy. It’s as simple as that. Just be mindful of dilution. Just like brewing hot tea, time and temperature are key to achieving the perfect iced tea.

Hydrating with Tea

Iced teas are perfect for hydration and help distribute water to the body. Hydration is a crucial part of health and wellbeing and is hugely important. Keeping our water levels up helps maintain body temperature, lubricates our joints, prevents infections, delivers nutrients to cells and improves our quality of sleep and mood. Tea is a low-caffeine drink, so the diuretic effect is minimal. On the whole, tea gives your body much more water than it causes your body to lose (due to caffeine), so get drinking tea and get hydrated!

Fun with Tea

We also like having fun with teas, and this summer, we’ve created two exciting iced tea cocktails to share with friends and family. These are boozy concoctions, so if you’re abstaining, simply leave out the alcohol. We’ve picked two cracking loose-leaf fruit & herb teas that boast lots of exciting flavours. Summery cherries and spiced oranges feature to create two of this season’s most enticing iced teas!

Cherry Dreams – Fruit Tea Infusion

Cherry Dreams is a really fruity infusion! With deep cherry flavours and a hint of mint, this refreshing tea contains 20% cherry pieces and elderberries, blueberries, rosehip, elderflowers, blackberry leaves and cranberry.

To counteract the sweetness of the cherries, mint is perfectly blended to lift the sweetness to create a refreshing fruit infusion.
