Tie Guan Yin is one of the best-known Chinese Oolong teas. The tea has a unique, soft character with a very flowery aroma reminiscent of orchids with a marvellously long-lasting taste.

Tie Guan Yin is a semi-fermented tea with only 30% oxidation, making it a green Oolong. During processing the dark green Tie Guan leaves are rolled into small tight pearls and dried so they keep this shape. During brewing the leaves unfurl and show the full beauty of unbroken tea leaf. 

Repeat brewing of the warm leaves can be infused a further 3-5 times

"Delicious. I've had slightly tastier oolong than this, but for the price (and to say it's organic) I can't fault this product. I typically get 4 steepings per heaped tsp, so it goes a long way!"

"This really is a special tea. The leaves are rolled and unfurl during brewing, so you end up with a lot of tea for a small spoonful. The tea is perfumed, mellow, refreshing. A perfect cup for anytime of the day."
